Q was appointed to direct the Launch Communications Plan for the InterContinental Perth to help successfully open the new property, introduce the global brand to the market and position the hotel as a vibrant and sophisticated addition to the city.

With discerning travellers in mind, we delivered a national PR campaign with an upscale press, magazine and digital focus that generated media coverage on the accommodation, Club Lounge, restaurants, bars and specially curated art collection; secured media familiarisation visits in collaboration with Tourism Australia and Tourism WA; created a series of stakeholder and media launch events in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth along with creating a corporate ambassador, digital influencer and brand partnership program to add to profile raising opportunities.  The hotel was awarded Best New Corporate Hotel by Qantas Magazine and Australian Gourmet Traveller in its first year of operation.
