Susan Wright
Susan established Q Strategies in 2003 after work in broadcast journalism in Perth & London and marketing communications roles in the corporate, arts and luxury hotel sector including the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and opening Westin Hotels in Australia.
With Susan at the helm, Q has become renowned as communications specialists in the lifestyle arena – called on as trusted advisors to manage media, issues, profiles and reputations for start ups to global brands as well as launch and reposition businesses. Susan’s network, commercially savvy and agile approach to all things communications – and working personally with each client – has ensured many have remained in the Q portfolio for over a decade.
A regular guest speaker at business conferences on the evolving role of PR, Susan was also selected for the inaugural Melbourne Tourism Industry Leadership Program and is a mentor for the Australian Marketing Institute.
Camilla Hartl
Camilla’s passion for gastronomy took her to Paris to start a career as a Pastry Chef before returning to Australia to follow more marketing focused pursuits in the hospitality, major events, sports and healthcare sector.
Now an experienced project and campaign manager, Camilla’s roles at Peter Rowland Catering, Swimming Australia and Austin Health has armed her with expertise in digital marketing, content creation, social media communities, event co-ordination and brand partnerships. To add to her communications repertoire, Camilla has recently completed a Graphic Design Certificate III at the renowned Shillington College of Design.
When not working on Q’s latest client campaigns, Camilla strives to keep her fluency in French.
Jane Evans
Jane’s depth of marketing communications experience in Federal Government, IT and financial services in Australia and Asia Pacific has more recently been directed to the consumer and lifestyle arena.
Her expertise and acumen has delivered brand strategy and PR programs for products and services in hospitality, food, wine and tourism including leading the marketing team at Melbourne’s Prahran Market, as well as handling business launches, media and stakeholder engagement, digital and social communities for a raft of producers, restauranteurs, winemakers and start up consumer brands from all over the country through consultancy work.
Jane also volunteers her PR skills to OzHarvest.
PENNY WEBB
Pauline Mosley
Pauline is Q’s ‘designer in residence’ and draws on her 20 years of brand, art direction and graphic design experience working on projects in a variety of business sectors – government agencies to start-ups, restaurants to international hotels, health and wellbeing to retail and utilities.
‘P’ works alongside Q to lend her creative insights to develop new identities, roll out rebranding projects and all facets of visual communications required for Q’s clients. The collaborations have ensured a streamlined and cohesive design approach for everything from style guides, logos, collateral, packaging and signage as well as websites, info graphics, menus, invitations, reports and submissions to support client launches, rebrands, events and activations.
